Quite apart from the records management requirements for accurate and appropriate metadata, the implementation of EDRMS forces organisations to take metadata seriously to enable data sharing and retrieval.

Most users will simply want to know how to carry out their everyday tasks. Training focused on the specific needs of the users is likely to be the most cost-effective approach, streaming training to the requirements and needs of the roles the recipients will have to fulfil.
